Some municipalities now require users to obtain a permit for alarm systems. Permit fees are not included with alarms, but must be paid by the owner. If you do not see the city or county entity which will respond to your alarm or if you have any questions please contact us.

Beaumont - Chapter 2 1/2, Article II of the City of Beaumont Code of Ordinances relating to the regulation of alarm systems was amended on March 7, 1995, June 6, 1995, December 9, 1997 and March 7, 2000. The amended ordinances require that the user obtain a permit prior to operating an alarm system. A electronic copy of the application for an Alarm Permit can be found on the Beaumont Police Departments website.

Lufkin - No permit is required, but the police department encourages registration of structures that are equipped with an alarm. The registration form is available online through the police departments website.

Nacogdoches - An alarm permit is required. A description of the alarm ordinance and a downloadable application are provided.
